Default "Project does not exist" error when opening new visio template

Hi Guys

I recently followed the online instructions to make my own Background Title Block in Visio. Everything went well eccept when I create a new visio file from within D-tools and then open it, an error dialog appears stating:

"SI project associated with this drawing "...file path..." does not exist. Would you like to associate drawing to a different project?"

When I select OK, then re-select the SI project from the drop down menu in the nexct dialog that appears, it in turn asks for new project information which is entirely blank and has no details from the original SI project I selected.

When I hit cancel at this point, the Visio file opens linked to D-Tools and I have an empty drawing that is in fact attached to the correct SI project.

Surely there's something I'm doing incorrectly or haven't set up right when creating the new template. The thing is, I'm not sure what I have done incorrectly.

FYI, creating a visio drawing from within D-Tools using the original SI drawing template works correctly and no "no linked project" message appears.

Cheers
Glenn

Problem solved!

I think the issue was after I had saved the template I left the drawing open and left it for a few hours before closing it.

Later when I closed it I was prompted to save the drawing with the template name in the dialog. I must have hit OK, hence saving it as an ordinary drawing with the same file path over the top of the original template.
