Changing the master Layer - D-Tools Forum

I have figured out how to change the Master Layer (or what i think is the master layer) but am not sure how to save it so that it will always have my logo on it. I can change it per-bid, but need it to be there whenever i open d-tools/visio.

any help?

you need to save it as a template if you open one of the premade dtools templates and do your custom logo and changes you then save as .vst name it what you want and when you go create a new drawing pick your new template you created..hope this helps.

While some aspects of modifying a visio template made for use with D-Tools can seem pretty straightforward, most of it is not.

Sidenote, as long as you only work with one paper size and one drawing scale things are simple. changing either of these can cause all sorts of scaling issues in the d-tools visio templates if you add your own geometry and/or logos...
