I have a simple CCTV camera that I setup to have an "Elevation Plain" for the elevation page. I place it on the page with no issues, then click D-Tools -> shape - Generate side view and it gives me the error "Could not locate side shape for product"

From this point I went and setup the side view to also be "Elevation Plain" with the same results. How do I generate a side view? Am I doing something wrong? I also tried "Side" from the side menu with no luck

To generate a "Side" view your Category stencil needs a master shape called "Side". For example you are generating a side view for a product in the the Category "CCTV". Then the CCTV.vss needs a master called "Side". If you do not find this master "Side" in CCTV.vss then copy if from one of our built in Visio stencils like "Accessories.vss" to the stencil for your category.

If you copy the side view shape of “Accessories.vss” stencil to your “CCTV.vss” custom stencil, make sure to change the “Category” value from: “Accessories” to: “CCTV” (via shapesheet > Shape Data > Prop.Category > Value >).
