Default Changing Shape in Visio

Hi all,

Currently I am trying to change the shape used for Floor Standing speakers for use in the plan view, at this stage they are appearing round and I am trying to get to being a rectangle. I have tried to change the shape under the D-Tools menu but when I do this, I loose the product information.

Is there a simple way to do this or do I need to copy the information in the ShapeSheet for the round speaker and then retype the information in the ShapeSheet for the rectangle.

FYI - It is the Floor Spk shape that I am trying to attach the products to.

thanks
Simon

Hi,
This article might help you.
How to Display Custom Properties on D-Tools Visio Shapes D-Tools Support WikiBlog

The shape you are changing to must have specific properties and also these properties must be shown in the shape text.
For example you want to show the Category you must have a prop.Category in the shape sheet and the prop.Category must be displayed in the shape text where you want it.
