Hi Jordan,

You mean the green handles or the yellow ones?

When I create a shape and turn the behavior to 1-dimensional, i get the handles in the middle of the shape. I would like to move the handles to the vertices as to use those as the shape snap points. I hope this makes sense. Thanks.

What about adding connection points?

connection points don't connect to connection points, or at least not that I can figure out.

Sure they do, but they can't be the same type. How do you think equipment snaps in place when building a rack elevation? The rack uses inward connection points at each rack space. When you drag equipment that has been marked as "Rack Mounted," it has an outward connection point. To change the type of connection point you want, use the Connection Point Tool and right click on the connection point you want to change. A menu pops up so you can select the type you want.

JordanC,

I think you want the "1D handles" to be located at the bottom of a shape, like in rack equipment?

If that's the case, then go into the ShapeSheet and set LocPinY = Height*0

Hope that's what you were looking for!
