surface nuisance

I have begun to use the 'Display Connected Points' option for some items on my schematics. Unfortunately, I am also finding that the correct connection points are not sticking, and when i reopen a drawing, it is not showing the correct connections. I have to re-expand the item, make the correct connections again, collapse it again, and pray...is this a known issue? I did not see it mentioned before I posted. I am using 4.5...

hmmm...NO ONE has heard of this???...Anyway, apparently this has something to do with using the same item from the database on more than one drawing. Let's say I have put an AMX NI-4100 on a schematic page, made some connections to it, and then choose 'Display Connected Points'. All fine and good. Apparently, if I drag that same NI-4100 onto another schematic page, the original instance on the first page loses its connection associations. I have to go back and expand the I/O box and make the proper connections again. It seems the only way to avoid this is to not 'collapse' the box until you know you will not be using the item on any other schematic drawings in the project. A bit of a pain if there are multiple instances...We will update to SI5 in the near future, but if no one seems aware of the issue, I would doubt it has been addressed. Can this be put on the list of future fixes?
