Default A couple connection questions.

My problem is I have a given component that I drop into a schematic page. The inputs and outputs are in their set locations and I have started to drag wires to it and have started to make connections. After making some connections I find that a given output is not in a very good location for the wire flow, meaning it crosses over a bunch of other wires and doesn't look very good. I have been, on the fly, opening up the component and moving the inputs/outputs to better locations for a smoother wire flow. Unfortunately I have found once I do this most of the wires have either lost their connection or are in the wrong place or both. Is there any way to lock the wires to their correct end points so they won't lose this connectivity or do I really have to go through and set up the input/output positions before making connections. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

if you move a connection point in the data or change products you will lose the connection. That is just the limitation of Visio or at least a limit of the way we implemented our solution in Visio.

There is a future version in discussion that will allow the user to work with connection points as individual blocks but we are still in the discovery phase.
