Default Multi conductor wires.

If I am creating a multi-conductive wire in the in product editor is there a way to configure it there to appear as a multi wired stencil when I drag this product out in visio? What we are trying to do is for like rgbhv wires or dual coax wire or cbus wires we want to be able to feed those to different locations without adding wires in the visio drawing. An example would be we are using an rgb mini cable with 5 conductors and 3 of them are going to be used for component video to a dvd player and one of the remaining wires is gonna be used for a vcr composite video out. We would like the line drawing to represent that it is the same wire doing all this.

I have used line weights and types to indicate bundled wires vs. single wires vs. wire belonging to a bundle. It still shows the bundled wires as individual wires though so it can get kind of messy if you have 4 or 5 different wires in a bundle.

We have some solutions for bundled wires coming out in the SI5.5 time frame.

Is the following agreed to be best practice for wire bundles?

To group a cable such as Crescat DC to different locations, whilst maintaining a bundle cable group, the package can include the Crescat DC with pricing, and then the contained cables are 'dummy' wires, with no cost associated, just the type variable adjusted to reflect cable label.

This would allow the DC to be broken out into the individual cables for schematics, whilst maintaining ordering structure with the pricing for the individual product.

Any progress on this issue? Bundled/multiconductor cable is used on a daily basis. Crestron DigitalMedia is maybe the one most used - or will be the next years.
