Actually, when you mention it; I've had that one a few times myself, but never investigated it since I've just thought that it was because of bugs in my Acrobat Reader. I see that occasionally in AutoCad-generated PDFs. I'll have a look into it on monday and report back if I find a cause and/or solution.

When you select "Publis as PDF or XPS..." click the "Options.."button and see if "Include Background" is checked. There's no good reason why that box should become unchecked, but that's the closest I can get to a solution to your problem.

BTW: Under options you can also select page range. All, Current Page or (and this is a good one for construction details) Current View. You can also select Pages from - to.

I've found the same problem recently and can't really find the cause of it. I spent 3 hrs trying to sort this problem out today without any luck. I found out that this problem applies only to my most recent projects - less than 2 weeks old. All other existing projects prints the background title block fine to the PDF. This problem also only applies to the Create PDF function in Visio, not when I run a normal print.

I use Primo PDF to print and have found that it works fine.

I used to work on a 32bit machine now I am working on a 64bit machine. I need to Print/save a D-Tools Visio drawing to a PDF 11 x 8.5. When I do that it shows up as a small spec on the PDF after created. How can I print/save to a full size PDF page?

I have had the best results by selecting "Print Preview" from the file menu then selecting Adobe PDF as my printer. It shows all of the page breaks and the full page layout prior to committing to saving the PDF. Not sure if this helps you but I used to struggle with saving PDFs and this has worked pretty consistently.
