Default Measurments

SO . . . I am finding myself using Visio more & more over CAD for our plan sets. I have searched and searched, but I cannot find an asnwer. I am trying to change my dimensions to architectural fractions. I have the Shape Data for precision and units, but I don't know where I convert to fractions. For instance; I have as measurment of 25.50". I want it to say 25 ½". Not 25.5 or 2'-1.50" not 2'-1 ½". I want inches in fractions to 32nd precision. Anyone?

I found some info online but haven't tried it yet. Assuming you need to make a custom version of the shape you are using:
Go to the ShapeSheet for your dimension line shape.
Find the cell: User.FeetInch
Paste this formula in the cell:

=IF(User.LUnitsInd=1,FORMAT(User.Feet*12+User.Inch ,IF(User.Inch<1 in,"0/#"&User.InchPrec&"\""","0 #/#"&User.InchPrec&"\""")),0)

This will kill off the showing of Feet when you show Feet-Inches in the right-click-menu options, but you'll get what you want. The rest of the dimensioning features should remain in tact as well.

Thanks for the Shape Sheet info. I am not that well educated in Visio to do them yet.

I have not found anything on the internet. I was hoping for a page property to make this happen. I didnt really want to make custom shapes for this, especially since I don't know how. Any additional information or input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Well it isn't just you. Without a detailed understanding of how to create shapes and deal with all of the complex formulas in the shape sheets, a guy could really spend a lot of time and get virtually zero positive results. I avoid it as much as possible.
In fact, I created a custom version of the D-Tools provided titleblock and it took me about two or three days to get it right.
