Default Save as Webpage in 5.0

When I save a 5.0 project as a webpage and open it in Internet Explorer, items added in 5.0 do not have data associated with them. ie cntr & mouse click on an icon such as a speaker in internet explorer and you don't see model, manufacturer and so forth. Is D-Tools aware of this? However a project imported into 5 from 4.6 that included data that was entered in 4.6 works fine, so I assume this is a 5.0 issue?

It looks like we hid the properties on all the new SI5 shapes. I am not sure why but I am sure there was a good reason. Maybe Chris Roth will chime in. in. I remember something about this issue. Look in the shapesheet of the new shapes. There are a bunch of Shape Data cells with the formula User.dtPropsIsHidden

Yes, Adam is right. The Custom Properties are still in the shapes, but are hidden. I think we wanted to make sure that users were editing data via SI interfaces, and not doing Visio-only edits that would throw data out of synch more easily. Guess we didn't think about the web-export so thoroughly.

Nice to see we were clever enough to put the User.dtPropsIsHidden flag into the shapes. An add-on could be written fairly simply to temporarily un-hide these props while your web-page is built.
