Custom Reports issue solved
Here is a solution to a problem that I had and with the help of a co-worker who apparently speaks computer, we came up with a solution, maybe this will help somebody else out there.
The problem: when I go to setup/setup projects/word reports I would select a report that I want to customize, select ADD and name the custom report. But going through this process somehow screws up the formulas and calculation in the new report because every time I do this process and use that newly created report none of the numbers would come across from the project.
The solution: I fould the location of the reports on my hard drive, found the report I wanted to customize, copy and pasted it in the same folder and renamed it. At this point the file still cannot be customized through d-tools because it is set as a standard report, so I open the file outside of d-tools and it looks like a bunch of jibberish to me but my co-worker with a background in computer programming figured out that by going down to where it says "standard report <true> and changing it to <false> It made the new report editable through d-tools and all the numbers from the project came across to the report and all automatic calculations worked properly.
Just in case other people out there have had this issue, there's one way around it.
