We are looking to add some new Business Manager Reports to a future D-Tools release. Are there any cross project reports that would help you better manage your business?
What about business totals by "Status" (Equipment, Labor, Install Hrs, Gross Margins, Estimated Profit etc.). This could help with forecasting, and high level project management. Jordan, I'm sure you have some thoughts on this.
I orignally purchased Biz Mgr to create work orders for my completed projects that required service.
Biz Mgr was not given this functionality directly, but I have devised a way to two step the process and create service orders from 'closed' projects and now train D-Tools Companies that use our implementation services.
A redesign of D-Tools Biz Mgr needs a 'service order' function, enabling integrators to generate service orders inclusive of materials and labor SKUs from their product database. The ability to tie it to a closed project would be great, but it also would be useful to generate a service order for a customer that may not have a previous project in your archive.
A report allowing an integrator to see what items in their database were sold or charged to a project status called 'warranty' or 'non-warranty' would be useful fro knowing what is failing out in the field, and how many/how often.
Horizon has had service order capability for 10 years - D-Tools is leaving out a crucial element of an integrator's business for referrals and happy customers - Supporting the Project After Completion!
