Default More Word Reports

I would like to see the Word reports expanded to include management reports (Pick List, Purchase Order Requests, etc...) and the Change Order reports. We have taken a lot of time and effort to create a truly wonderful looking proposal and contract, but when we send out a change order, it doesn't bear any resemblance to what our customers have seen before. I understand this can be done with Crystal, but A) we do not own crystal and B) I don't want to have to modify reports two different ways.

Please!?!?!?!?

I have noticed this to be annoying as well. Also, when I add and remove an item within the same change order, or modify an item, I don't see why it needs to be refelected in the change order. Created confusion and clutter within the report.

In my limited study of the Word/XML reporting, I found that It did not have the reporting flexibility needed to address the many issues presented by our sales team. I had no choice but to use Crystal. It is very powerful, but it takes some study.

Word is great if you can have the EXACT data you need at the time of the report. For us this would require developing another set of Access queries and a report for each business scenario

Our guys wanted ONE report to do everything one could imagine. Word could not come close.

Our sales staff wanted a single report to include 1) Cover letter (optional) 2) Item Report 2) Billing Info (optionall) 3) Contract (optional) and a bunch of formating options.

Sounds great... Is there any reason you couldn't share that? In PDF at least, I'd like to see what's possible with report customization.

I to would like to see what that looks like, I have had awful luck with word reports. Right now I just transpose the numbers into my proposal template.

I will when I get back to Cary (5/8). I am in CA through next week. I will need to create a dummy project.
