Default Feature Request for Creating Sales Order

Could we please have a few more categories to choose from when selecting items for creating a sales order?

Currently we have "Select All" and "Clear All".

How about adding "Select Manufacturer", "Select Model Number", and "Select Phase"?

Or how about letting us check off one item, hold down the shift button, and select another item and all items inbetween would be automatically selected (pretty standard with windows based programs)?

I just had to INDIVIDUALLY click 124 of the same item! And 472 items had to be INDIVIDUALLY selected for this one sales order (and this is a residence, not an office building). There has to be a better way.

Thanks,

Dan

I will submit your requests to our development team. Agreed, you should be able to hold down Shift and select a group of items at one time. As for the "Select Manufacturer", etc. request, did you use the filters along the tops of each column? You can easily filter to just a particular Manufacturer, or to a particular Phase, then select all those items and add them to the SO.

Thanks Senos,

I did SORT by the filters. I didn't realize I could select individual manufacturers (for instance). I just tried that, and hit "Select All" and that worked great. Thanks.

I still think that "holding down Shift and selecting a group of items at one time" is a good idea, but your other way of doing it saves me tons of time - THANKS!
