Update to mastertable
Another useful feature would be:
If I update a product from within Visio or SI Text, it would be rad if D-Tools prompted me to update all the other duplicate items in my project as well. I/O's on drawing too.

I am guessing that you are really just asking for a prompt window to remind you?
I am also guessing that you know that you can right click and select "Refresh Data From MasterTable"?

Thats a good feature that I was unaware of, Dave. Thanks.
It would also be nice if you could change all the prices of a particular model WITHIN THAT PROPOSAL ONLY. For instance: edit the price of a speaker and hit "save". The program could ask you: 1. Save for this item only, 2. save for all identical items in this proposal, or 3. Update master table.

Most of the feature requests that come through from people are really just desires for little time savers. Lets say you have (30) cat5 video extenders in your project and you realize that you have the I/O's wrong. All 30 of those extenders may not be on the same drawing page or even in the same zone. Rather than filter your datamatrix select all then update from master table, it would be nice to update one and have D-tools take care of the rest.
Another scenario like what avaltdan was saying is maybe you don't want to update to the mastertable because the change doesn't apply to other projects. If it only updated that current project without the master table would be a very helpful feature, at least until they give us the feature of only updating certain aspects of the item to the mastertable.
Consider the scenario of the first project above and you knew that you needed adjust your markups out of your normal comfort zone in order to win the project and you find that the I/O's are also wrong. You don't want to update the masterable with those low markups but you do need to update all 30 I/O's there is no quick and easy way to accomplish that.

I can see a need that this would be nice, but I also see other people that would look at this as a nuisance since it would require another pop-up window that had multiple choices. As I said I can see it being nice for the particular situation that you presented but that is really for the way that you work and others might not find it helpful. Just my $.02

Just trying to keep you honest
The trouble with developing a solution for many different people is that by creating a great new feature for one person you may just create a nightmare for another. We run into this all the time with our data subscription service where dealers ask for some additional data or changes to some part of the data and it makes sense for their need but can completely screw up someone else.
