Default Quantity View

I would like to see a feature in future releases that would allow for a "Item Quantity view" in SI Text. I have a few sales people that have a hard time breaking themselves from Quickbooks because they are used to and comforatble with that type of interface. It would be a great feature to allow them to create their estimate in D-tools with a familiar style interface and change quantities on the fly and when we are ready, to switch views that lists the items individually for drawing purposes.

I think that would make a lot of people happy if it were possible. Here's to wishing.

Default Qty View

Eric, This could be similar to the 'Line Item Summary' view - I know what you're asking for and think it would be great - but have you shown your people the line item summary view? Perhaps when they see they can view the project that way it might help them out a bit?

I know that I've helped some people in a similar spot as you and when I showed their staff the flexibility of the data matrix (being able to change the grouping/ sorting on the fly) they were thrilled with the flexibility and what additional things they were able to do that their accounting package could not do.

my 2c - Happy New Year!

Can I come work with your staff? They seem to be willing to learn and adapt.
