Default import from outlook optimization

finally got a few clients running outlook 2007 and we tried the import from outlook feature for clients/contacts. the database we were importing from has a few hundred contacts.

after clicking import dtools.......really.......kinda.....just stopped..................working......for several........................minutes.....until.. .......finally showing...........the contacts.
i think i could have manually entered the info as fast.

some optimization could be useful here.

Default

Good afternoon all. I have an outlook database of about 8200 contacts (not a typo, just over eight thousand) and whenever I try to import the contact d-tools seizes up and crashes out. I've been in touch with the support that has been very helpful as far as the troubleshooting steps go, but the issue still remains. I even tried going ahead to isolate the problem just to Outlook 2007 and export the contacts from there and import them from the new list, but Outlook just doesn't seem to want to let me do them all in one giant hunk. If anyone has any type of solution to this issue other than doing 100 at a time (still takes a while to do so) PLEASE get back to me. Take care.
