I think it would be nice to have the ability to select which properties get get updated to and from the master table. Sometimes I have to go into old bids and an item won't have the proper I/O's setup yet. I know that I have since updated the I/O's in the master table but I may not want to change any other property's about the item. I could refresh from the master table but that may or may not update, labor, price, etc. Rather it would be nice for a window to pop up that asks if I want to update the whole item or just certain properties. Same with the update to the master table. I may only want to send the updated I/O's to the master table and not the price, hours, etc.

Just a thought.

i second this feature.
my suggestion is to add check boxes that select which aspects of the product will be updated to the confirmation dialog (either from or to the master table). in other words, in addition to the Yes/No buttons have a check box for description, price, labor, specs, accessories, custom properties. The check box selection should persist after each update operation.

note that checkbox selection for price AND labor is separate, i may want to update the price of a product, but not the labor hours that have been allocated for it
