Default Add Product Dialog Box (Visio)

I have noticed a few things about the "add product" dialog box in SI5.5 that are different than SI4.

1. There is no "locations" button within this box, meaning you cannot add, edit or create a new location or zone from this window. That was a very convenient feature of SI4. Occasionally I think of a new zone to add while putting products in the job and this makes it kind of a PITA.

2. All 3 selection windows within the "Add Product" page respond differently to a mouse click. I have no idea why or how, but it is very inconsistent and I inadvertently add products to a job regularly because of this.

Manufacturer Window - 1 mouse click activates window and another will check box of manufacturer clicked (I think this makes sense)

Product Window - 1 click will select and check box of any item clicked on (annoying when you want to simply activate that box so you can scroll)

Location Window - any amount of mouse clicks will never check the box. You have to mouse over the actual box itself and click it.

This seems like a simple oversight, and i'm a little surprised it has not been fixed yet. I don't mean to be critical but being a recent switcher to SI5.5 I have not been all that satisfied with the program.

AVAndy,

#2 above is being fixed in the next Service Pack.

#3 is not replicable at my end - I can check Locations by checking in the checkbox. Anyone else able to replicate that?

Thanks,

Naresh
