Default Wire Connection Info

While in one drawing you need to see what wire you used in the previous drawings to connect that equipment. As an example say you have rooms 1, 2 and the rack closet. You do drawings for rooms 1 and 2 connecting them back to the rack closet using xxxx wire showing that the wire goes to the rack, but only via a note saying "To Rack". Then at the rack you need to use the same wire saying "From Room 1" then connect the other end to the equipment in the rack. When you don't have both drawings open how do you know what wire to use?
