For instance if I already have a product in my database, either downloaded or manually entered. I go check the D-Tools downloads and maybe there is some updated info on the already downloaded product, or a product that was manually entered was recently added to the products available for download. I want to download the new data, but only if an item or field is blank since I may have adjusted certain fields and don't want to overwrite them.
Maybe I have a bunch of products that I never entered the dimensions, MSRP, and I/O list, but I have entered and want to keep my description and labor hours. I can go through and check/uncheck the items that I want to download for a product which can vary on each one and is very prone to operator error if you don't know exactly what you're doing. A simpler way would be an "Overwrite Existing Data" option. This way I can disable that option to keep downloads from overwriting anything that I may have updated/corrected myself, but get the benifit of updating any fields that don't have any data already.
