Default Find and Replace Packages

I can't seem to figure out how to "Find and Replace" an entire package. Is there a way??

Use example:
build up a bid with home run distributed audio system (ie. Package is speaker wire and rings) and customer changes mind to want individual control (ie. need package as wire & cat to keypad, wire to speakes, & rings).

I need to be able to do this without deleting ad inserting 27 packages.

Any thoughts would help.

As Kevin points out, there is no way to do this at this time. However, it is on the list for consideration in a future release. Ref #2489. Please let us know the relative importance of adding this.

I have found it relatively important.

Creating a robust engineered database and an easy-to-use proposal building system means a lot of packages. Sometimes more packages than non-packaged product. So, I believe it would be fairly important to have the find and replace function applicable to packages as well.
