I think a feature should be added to MMPD.

Users should be able to either add their own extended data for products or at least have a links section which has links to other files or weblinks. Being a Design Engineer I have a lot of useful data that I would like to attach/link to the product. These items include products specs, manuals, pics, block diagrams, ect...

This information should obviously not show up on any printouts, reports, ect... just be used at internal company data.

Great suggestion! I'm sure you already know this, but you can also attach files to specific projects folders. This is very handy when you need to add files you wish to save in relation to that project for future ref.

You can send suggestions like this to features @ d-tools.com (remove the spaces between @)

I 2nd this request... I get a bunch of PDF literature from web sites, vendors etc... and I'd like to be able to add this manually into my product database so it's central and accessible to all VERY easily!!!

At the moment all we've got is the hyperlink field. However this is definitely something we'll be looking at for a future version of SI. Can you email me your contact information so we can follow up when we have detailed questions? All input is appreciated.
