Default Two hands with Visio

I used to use AutoCAD exclusively and now I'm using VISIO. With AutoCAD there was great efficiency by keeping right hand on mouse all the time and firing off commands with the left hand on the keyboard. I would love to see the D-Tools add-in monitor my keystrokes and if I hit D two times quickly, like a double click, that I could then enter 1-9 to access 9 shortcuts. One of them would be the Regenerate Component ID. Another would be to open the Wire Wizard. Maybe some others would toggle the dockable windows.

Perhaps there are more experience D-Tools users that could suggest what the best suited short cuts could be. In any case, if that cannot happen, then perhaps the DTools Menu could also become a dockable tool bar.

Thanks.
