Default Anyone's PC Freezing/Crashing Since Upgrade?

This could be a total coincidence so I am just posting here in case anyone else has experienced similar. All of a sudden when I am working my main workstation just totally freezes. Control/alt/delete won't work, no mouse movement, *nothing*. It's also unusual because there is no visible cause as there often is when a program crashes, no warning message, no windows errors, it's as if everything is perfectly OK but everything freezes. The only way to solve it is to hold the power button in and restart the machine.

It's only happened since the upgrade and each time D-Tools has been running. Again, this could be a total coincidence and it could be related to something else so I feel bad about even posting, but I need to know if anyone else has experienced similar.

Thanks

I had the same problem, although it was not related to any upgrade of any kind. The cause was the graphics card. Put in a new one and the PC worked like a charm. The PC worked fine as long as I was running easy apps as webbrowser or Word, but froze when I started AutoCAD, Visio or other apps that was a bit demanding on the graphics and processor, even though I was running a graphics card, not the graphics output on the mainboard. I struggled a long time to figure this out as I could run a DivX-file or DVD just fine.

It took some time to investigate this since I didn't find any messages on the crash cause in Event Viewer.

Mine doesn't crash, but holy sh#$%t did it slow down! very noticeable when managing database and adding products & packages. Almost to the point of crashing, but after a few sips from the cofee cup, it comes good. Also, when in visio, moving lables on wires tends to freeze, then come good once you let go of the mouse
