It sounds like only the update for the client was performed.
If you click Start > All Programs > D-Tools you should "Check for Server Update" and "Check for Update."
One is for the server, and one is for the client, so essentially you have to run two updates since both LANSync and Client are on the same PC.
I would double check to make sure you did run the Server update as well. Take a look at this blog post for more info -
