Is it just me but since upgrading we can not amend cable lengths from the default 100 meters when adding a package containing cable.

Surely it's not just me...is it?

I am not having a problem with this. Can you post a screenshot and/or a more detailed description of where you're having the difficulty?

It only appears to be a problem on Projects created prior to the SI 5.5. upgrade. Newly created projects post upgrade seem OK.

Basically, we open and check out an exisiting project and add a cable to the project which has a default length of 100m. Then we try and edit the cable length field but the field appears to be read only.

This also applies to cable items withing a Package.

Right click on cable,assign,head end

you should be able to show the wire length field in your data matrix (SI5.2) and double click to type a new length...
