Default Custom Report by Phase with Phase Sell Price

Hi, i am trying to create a report in Crystal that groups by Phase that will show the Equipment Model and also a subtotal of equipment sell price for each phase. I can get the Phase and Model to show but I am having trouble finding where the Phase dollar amounts are located in the database. Any help would be great. Thanks

Is this for a proposal or for internal use? Did you start from scratch or did you use an existing report as a template. This will help me know how to point you in the right direction. There are two appoaches I am aware of. 1) Use the Group Header to Collect all the Items of a given Phase, then use the Group Sum function to calculate the sum for all Items in the Group, or 2) Use the Sum Function with parameters. The Crystal helps wil provide some guidance. Crystal sorts and Groups like items to create summary data.

Also look at the Group Expert and the Group Sort Expert.

This is for a proposal. What I would like is the Unit Price Totals and the Install Totals broken out. I can get the report to work with the Installed Unit Price but would like it borken out.

Sorry, but I'm still not sure what you ar looking for. I assume you are attempting to modify the Line Item Installed Price report. Is this the case? Did you chnage the name of the report?

When you say "broken out" what do you want broken out and where. I assume the end of each Phase. Make sure "Group Totals" are checked when you run the report. You may need to create a few functions to get the totals you want. (Equipment Retail, Misc Part%, Equip +-, Labor (Install, Design, Mgt and Misc), Equipment Tax & Labor Tax)

Sorry I can't be more specific. I need a little more info.
