Default Creating your own title frame

I want to create my own title frame, not jut change the logo I would like to modify the lines add some curves... I can't seem to find anything out there that can help me.

I used the help video
http://64.151.114.228/update/SI4Inst...e%20update.wmv
but it's basic

Even then I have a problem, for my logo seems to change in size when I drag in the title frame and no longer fits properly.

If I add text like a slogan the text size changes once I drag the title frame in it to is no longer the same size as when I added it in.

Wonder the same thing. Went in to the Shape sheet dialog but diden't find anything that would change it.
I really would like to make the drawing area bigger. When I print with my 11 X 17 printer I feel like I could squeeze out another 1/2" around. Like to move the titel and the text over a little

Anyone??

If you're printing on 11 X 17, you need to use the shape "11 X 17 Frame" to edit. Make sure you make a copy of it before editing it. You also need to make sure you configure "Page Setup" to 11 X 17.

That's not it. My layout. printing etc is already set to 11 X 17. It's just that some printers, like mine can print up to 1/4 from the edges so I could actually push over the text 1/2" to the right side.

Anyone know how to change the page margin on the title frame.

If I understand you correctly, the Page Margin is NOT what you want to change. You just want the outline/box of the "Title Frame" drawing area to be closer to the edge (larger) to give you a larger drawing area. Correct?

True, but to be able to do that you have to move the text over to the right. I am talking about Customer name adress etc. You can move it up and down fine but not left to right. How do you unlock that? You can create yur own titel frame, but then you have to insert customer info manually everytime which I don't want to do.

This requires shapesheet manipulation.

With a project open in Visio, drop the title frame onto the page.
Select the title frame.
Select 'Edit' from the menu bar, then select 'Open 11 X 17 Frame.xx' at the bottom.
The title frame is now in edit mode.
Select the protected item you want to unprotect and open the shapesheet for that object.
In the 'Shape Transform' section, locate the 'PinX' cell and remove only the 'GUARD' command and leave the rest. This will allow you to move the object left to right. When you have it where you want it, replace the 'GUARD' command. The same applies if you want to change the width of the object. When you're done making changes to the object, close the shapesheet.

Hope this helps.

That did the trick! Played around with it for a while with no use.

Thanks a million!

Default One more thing...

I did leave out one detail that would be helpful...

You need to edit the master shape to be able to drag the new frame onto any project without having to change it every time. To do this, open the shape's stencil window and 'right click' on the stencil's title bar icon on the left. Select edit stencil. Now 'right click' on the shape and select 'edit master shape.' Then pick up the steps at the 'edit' from the file menu as above.

Glad it worked out for you.
