Default Custom Visio Stencils - Net Zoom

Has anyone used the Net Zoom Stencils with D-tools?

I wanted to know if you can assign the Net Zoom Stencil to a product just like you do with the manufacturer stencils from D-Tools.

This will only cover the elevation page and maybe the line page (I still prefer to use images for the line page).

Anybody use Net Zoom?

Thanks,
Kevin

I have used them just to see how they work in a D-tools project and I know of other, who are not responding to your post, that also use the netzoom shapes.
They work pretty good in Line view and Elevation but will not snap to our rack shapes or display product ID's.
They have a 30 day free trial so give it a look.
Keep in mind we have allot of new shapes coming with the V5 release in Q4.

The NetZoom Shapes are great for Line Drawings as they are consistent and for large projects yield smaller file sizes than line drawings that use JPGs.

Component ID loss on Rack Elevations is a bummer, but not a big deal if you are not putting together projects with several ocurrences of identical devices.

I also know of a company that is using NetZoom shapes for schematic pages and have discontinued populating the I/O tables for their database.

This approach 'breaks' the wiring connection report from D-Tools, but the savings on data maintenance and the realsim of the schematics is justified according to the integrator that is using this practice.
