Default D-tools Navigator and Check in/out

Just finished loading SI5.2 for the first time. (Have used 4.6 since the begining) anyway the check in/out is a cool feature but when I try to check something back in I get CHECK IN FAILED. The network path was not found. Funny though as I can see allt he projects that are on the network path and don't have any issues checking them out just back in.

Any Idea's

Aloha pat

Pat,

Make sure that you have both read and write permissions on the projects share on the server.

It seems that Full Access is appropriate.
Is this not necessary?

Steve,

You may want to create new threads for this. No need to bump old unrelated threads (error messages are different).

Are you connecting via a VPN? The error you are receiving may be due to you being on a VPN or being on a different subnet.

Example
Server: 192.168.1.xxx
Client: 10.1.1.xx

Make sure that both are on the same domain/workgroup, and if you are using it via a VPN you will need to edit your host file, along with enabling remote connections to SQL.
