Default visio

Ok downloaded the new software plus trial edition of visio.
createda a new project, added a viso drawing to the project. Opened visio to draw alyout of room, where are the componants i choose for my job and how do I get them to my viso project for that particular job. So I can show pictures in my layout? or is that not possible?

Have you reviewed the Tutorial or the Visio chapter of the User Guide?

yes i did and followed word by word, but when it opens my list is not there in the left coloum it just says get started with viso , or click shapes, nor does it have my logo on the one end like the user help shows?

Did you install Visio before or after SI5. If you installed Visio after SI5 then the Visio Addin's for D-Tools probably didn't get installed. You will need to reinstall SI5 if that is the case.

It is good to know someone is reading the manuals! When you open a project with Visio you should see a "D-Tools" menu to the right of the "Shape" menu. If not, you need to reinstall SI 5.
