Microsoft Web Services Enhancements Error - D-Tools Forum

Client is getting an error as follows:

“This installer database contains the logic and data required to install System Integrator 5. Has stopped working”

The program is attempting to download Microsoft Web Services Enhancements (WSE) 3.0 from

http://downloads.d-tools.com/si5/red...3.0Runtime.msi

This requires the internet on the machine to freeze up and the computer needs to be rebooted in order to correct.
Please help.

Eval client getting this error after completing the instal of the .net.

Windows update will fix that error. You can also go to www.microsoft.com and do a search for "Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable". Then download and install the 3.1 redistributable.

I asked the eval client if they had kept current with updates from MS and they had not. they ran all critical updates and now everything is working fine.
