Any ideas on how to resolve would be great.

Whats odd is when it looks for an existing db the option to use alternate credentials is locked out.
Here are the steps that I followed.
1. Ran the update utility, found the update

2. Wanted to install .net 3.5sp1
3. Update failed as it wanted .net 3.0 1st
We are looking into this issue.

4. Installed .net 3.0
5. Reboot
5. Installed .net 3.5 sp1
6. Reboot
Reboot at this point is not absolutely necessary, but should not do any harm.

7. Re-ran update utility-received message that software was up-to-date
The SI5.5 update is temporarily disabled while we investigate and resolve some of the issues posted here. it will be available again soon.

8. Tried .ini edit from above with no luck
This has been fixed on our end, so is no longer needed.

9. Downloaded server update
10. Wizard unable to find existing db
We are investigating this issue.

11. No-D-tools
Please contact D-tools technical support at http://www.d-tools.com/support/submit-an-issue.html or 866-385-6571 x2 if you haven't already. They will be able to help you restore your SI5.2 environment, or get 5.5 running. We sincerely apologize for the difficulties.

The SI5.5 update has been temporarily disabled as we resolve some significant installation problems experienced by some users. We are working on fixing those issues now, and after some additional testing, updates will be available again soon.

Please keep using SI5.2 for now, and refer to the Critical SI5.5 Update Notice posted on the Navigator for the latest information.

Truly sorry about that. Everyone is working to resolve this as quickly as possible. If you email me your company name (to beta@d-tools.com), I can check up on your status and get back to you. Support is definitely behind due to the unexpected complexity of the problem.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and will keep working until we have a resolution.

I have un-installed 5.5 due to the issues of not being able to install correctly. I have gone to reinstall 5.2 and it will not let me. Are there some instructions on going backwards on server?
