Default Component ID font size in schematic

Is there any way to increase the font size for the component ID in schematic? In our drawing scale our technicians has some challenges reading the component IDs. Wire labels are no problem.

Any solutions? We can't increase page size (our plotters is for 24" x 36") and the drawing scale is maybe too high already.

The only easy way I'm aware of is to select the piece of equipment you wish to change the size of and change the font size in the menu bar. However this will change the size of the entire box not just the component ID. Otherwise you have to edit the shape sheet which is no fun and easy to screw things up.

I can't afford to use more space in my schematics on that. I need to increase the component ID text only.

I believe the instructions you gave are for Visio. Is there a way to do this in AutoCAD? Or is there a way to make the entire block Annotative in Autocad, so no matter the page scale the block and text are the same size?

Randy’s instructions are for Visio, and right now there is no way to do this in AutoCAD.

Has anyone tried to make a macro to be able to change the size of the Component ID of all the Shapes on a page?
