1. Is there a way to take away the Mis. parts from the project summary?
2. Is there a way to change the wording of equpiment adjustments in the project summary??

We have case open for this, working with Brittany.

1. If you are going to remove the Misc Parts field from the Project Summary, your math will be off on the proposal unless you change all of the dtr:Price fields to dtr:ExtendedPrice. In addition to the "main" proposal report, modifications must also be made to the following subreports: Proposal Level2 Items, Proposal Level3 Items, Project Summary Detail. Note: dtr:ExtendedPrice includes both the Misc Parts % AND the Equipment +/- % so making this change may trump your second question since the Equipment Adjustments (regardless of what you rename it) shown in the Project Summary will not add up properly - you will essentially be showing the charge twice, once in the body of report and again in the summary.
2. This post shows how to modify the Project Summary subreport to change wording for elements.

Jumping onto Senos' reply

If you wanted to use one of the 2 (misc parts and equipment adj.) to add together with the equipment price, while leaving the other in the summary - you might be best off doing this:

--Use Misc Parts for the line in the summary that gets displayed separately from parts in the summary. And change the wording per Senos' post.

--use equipment adjustment as the % you want to combine with parts (use data field = dtr:AdjustedPrice = Price + Equipment Adjustment) because there is a built-in data field that combines the two prices and no custom scripting.

--remove the equipment adjustment line in the summary

--change the line item prices in main proposal, level 2 and level 3 subreports from dtr:Price to dtr:Adjusted Price - including the group subtotals and the project subtotal field. (This makes sure the line item data matches the total displayed under "Equipment" in the project summary.
