Default Report showing items not on a drawing page?

Is it possible to create a report that shows items in the DTL file that are not on *any* drawing page?

An item can be in a proposal but not used on any drawing page. I would like know if it is possible to create a report that shows items that are not on any drawing page.

David,

There is no way to this currently. The DTL does not store any information about the visual views. This has been logged as a feature request - however it was out of scope for SP3.

Default Reporting with Visio Based Data

David - I think this is an important feature as well, although my need has always been to report only on the items that ARE used in Visio! Even down to items used on a specific page. Essentially being able to filter by drawing page - allowing me to pull a very specific wire pull/ connection list for example.

Naresh - hopefully this can be logged for a future release request

I'm with David, I can't wait for that feature. When you start getting drawings above 4-5 pages of schematics then it becomes really important to keep track of items not accounted
for.

Naresh, how many service packs does D-Tools plan on releasing before the next version release?

I understand, and I think the only feasible way to accomplish this would be by a line item report. Having a field showing what page(s) and item is shown as drawn. I am sure one of these report geniuses could find some code for you to work in on a custom report.
