Does anyone know why the report I have customised has my fields inside the details section repeatedly listed down the page several times when previewed or published/run.
It's only written in the report once, but appears several times....

Reason: spelling grammar
Detail section of a report = 1 line in the report for every item in your project. To see an example of a report that aggregates the items take a look at a proposal report like Proposal With Graphics - you'll see the Detail section is not used.
To see a report where detail section is used (and desired) look at a wire checklist - each item displayed on its own line intentionally.
