I want to add a proposal summary as a sub report.

i would like to show a line item cost per room not including labour.

Can anyone help

You will enter the summary report as a subreport. Simple as that.

Of course I did that and now I have another problem. The Summary report isn't giving me zone summaries, it's grouping the same way the product is.

This can be done but a hefty script to handle the zone summary portion without dynamic grouping is necessary. I have a pretty nice report that produces a project summary by zone followed by a line item detail report sorted by zone by location including labor by location.
