Published report not showing in reports - D-Tools Forum

I am creating a custom Cover Page report from the existing. After starting Report Designer, basing the report on existing, giving the report a name, and publishing the report, I close report designer. There is no sign of the report.
I run Report Designer again, open existing, it is there, edit it some more, and publish. Still no sign. I refresh - nothing.
Where is the custom report?

This could be a couple of things:

1. When creating the report - did you happen to check off the box 'this is a subreport'? Checking this box tells the report to only live in the report designer and do not be published for use in the reporting area...it can only be used or accessed from within the designer.

2. Did you check off 'list this report in the business mgr'? Checking this box tells the report to get published to the revision manager to be used as a change order report there.

3. Look to the very bottom of your reports list under 'Uncategorized Reports' - your report may in fact be there and you're just not seeing it.

4. If none of this works - try to copy your report and make a new one and publish that new one. Or you could try to export your report and re-import it. I'm guessing that it is one of the three above though, those are most typical.
