Hello, 4 Days into D-tools here.. Take it easy on me... Ive searched and come up with nothing, We do our propsals by location (one location per page) After the Location Title (on the top of the page) Id like to include a few paragraphs describing the room and items in the room.

Exp.

Kitchen:

The Keypad will control the music sources along with the lighting

The 6 inch speakers will provide etc...


After these descriptions would be the actual itemized list of the qty. product description, price etc.

Now I know how to manually include the paragraph text but id like to be able to automatically through it at the top of the page when I select a product for the location....

Any help would be great

Create a Custom report based on the existing Proposal report.

If you are not aware of creating custom report then go through this link

Change the Properties of “GrpDynamicHeader1” section

GroupKeepTogether – All
NewPage – After
RepeatStyle – OnPage

Then publish the report.

You can give a description to each Location in the “Project Information” dialog as shown in figure below. To view the project information click “View Project Information” for the selected project in Navigator. The Proposal report will display the location description below the location name.

All useful info but I guess what I was trying to say is that id like to beable to associate the "Location Description" to the actual Product I choose per room,

I.e.

I select keypad A for the kitchen, It will bring all the prduct info price etc. like it normally does but also will throw a dumbed down version of the product description would display right where the location description shows up as you showed above.

So basically id like a product selection to show two descriptions in two differant locations on one page, with one product selection.
