What I like about Active Reports...
I know I have complained a lot about AR compared to Crystal. However, there are three things that are much better with the D-Tools' AR implementation.
1) Ability to create specific Report Definitions
2) The ability to consume custom parameters from the Report Definitions. This was a real hack in Si4 Crystal. It is so nice for the user to pick a set of Parameters once rather than having to select the desired parameters each time the Crystal report is run.
3) Having Rick in the forums. Without his help I could have never figured this stuff out.
