accessories price is not included in group total - D-Tools Forum

Hi All

How do i make the price of an accessorry appear as part of the group subtotal and subsequently as part of the project total?

Also why do the accessories appear in faint tex below the main item. how can i get them to appear in the same text style as the other main items?

Can you try running the “Line Item Detail” report? This report has all products in project (including accessories) with the price value listed – it does not differentiate between products and accessories.

this does have the accessories as a list but doesnt look good for a client...

i have been using the proposal with graphics report, i can send you the report i have been using but try it on a report that has accessories attached to a main item and the group total will not have the accessories inculed within the group subtotal. as illustrated by the project total and project summary prices being different.

Created a custom report based on the existing “Proposal w/Graphics” report.

Custom report Updates -
• Custom report will list the price of the accessory and main item will show only its price.
• Accessories font has been adjusted so it will display like its main item.

FYI –
1. In order to show the Accessory price in the proposal report enable the “Show Detail Price” option for all the Report definition as well as in Report Information.

2. A new sub-report has been created from the existing “Proposal Level2 Items with Images”. This sub-report shows the accessory in same font as its main item and accessory price and main item prices are aligned in the sub report.

3. This sub-report has been bound to the sub report in “grpItemFooter” section of the Main report.
