Default Zone Getting Split Up in Proposal

I like to run my proposals by Zone by Room.

The report is splitting up one of the Zones into two sections.

Here is the order the report runs the Zones:

Multi-Room Audio
Media Room
Multi-Room Audio
Multi-Room Video
Intercom
Lighting
HVAC
Connected Smart Home
Central Vac

As you can see Multi-Room Audio is split up. This is happening on Proposal w/Graphics 4 by Zone by Room. It doesn't happen when I use the same report style but with by Zone.

Any ideas?

Not sure what is going on here, but here are a couple of thoughts.

Each Zone is assigned an order ID so that zones can be sorted in a manner that is not alphabetically ordered.

I'm wondering if at some point you had two zones with the same name, different (order IDs), deleted the one, but the order ids on the others weren't updated.

This is pure guess, but given that the report data is strictly sorted on the values that exist in the DTL, I think we may be seeing an issue caused elsewhere in the application.

the easiest test would be to note the items that are showing up in the second grouping of the zone (or first depending on which has less items). In SI, unassign the zones and reassign them. See if that doesn't fix the issue.

Again, this is all guess, but I think it may be part of the issue.

I unassigned and reassigned the items in the broken up zone with the least amount of items and the same thing happened. I'll try the same thing with the larger amount of items and see if it works.

I had this problem last week and found a solution but of course I don't remember what I did. It seems like the reassign was the trick.

I'll let you know what happens.

Thanks

I too have this problem but with the phase... some of the phase names were altered with the setup of SI5 which means there are some similar names Pre Wire & Pre-Wire. Although I've fixed the current project I'm 99% sure I had repeats of the same name Pre-Wire and Pre-Wire.

My work around was filtering the PDM to the phase that had the repeat and re-selecting all items phase name (for each item).

Is there an easier way to fix this? Its quite time consuming to re-select the phase for every item.
