Greater Understanding of Reports
I'm trying to grasp a greater understanding of the default SI5 (included) reports and how they are designed.
Is there any documentation showing a kind of "family tree" view of the construction any of the default reports (from output back to supporting sub-reports)?
What I'm thinking of is seeing is a final run of a report, say a Proposal of some sort, then connecting the output sections to the main report template used and then connecting those relavent sections to their sub reports, etc.
What I'm trying to understand (as are a lot of folks here I would imagine), is 1)How the reports and sub-reports are linked to provide customized output; 2)How things like group headers/footers/bindings and their possible dynacism are used; and 3)Based on the default reports, how to build our own custom reports utilizing those same methods.
Thanks!
