This link is not working as of 8-17-07. Is the ability of customize reports in Word like in 4.6 available in SI5? I haven't found the way to do it.

I looks like our download server is off line at the moment... No there is no support for Word reports in SI 5. Most custom formatting is rather easy with Active Reports. We will provide additional documentation on customizing reports in the near future.

It is working now. I have one question by the way.
I found that when I bring an image to a new report on Report Designer the image get softest than the original and darker. Any ideas why this happens?

Is there a difference in the look of the images between the Standard Reports and the Custom Reports? Or is the difference between the MMPD image and the report image? Now does it look when printed?

The difference is actually between the image itself and the image when imported into the Custom Report The images is softest(not sharpness and is darker) it looks lifeless.

Are you speaking of Item images or other images, such as logos?

Reed, I'm trying to customize the default cover page just changing the image of the house with my own image file. I tried different formats, bmp, png, jpeg and the results is the same with all of them.

I have passed this on for further testing on our end. How does it look when printed? Is the difference still noticeable? Could you post a couple screen shots?
