I was told by Tech Support that you may be able to help me with something I am trying to do. I like to show my clients the discounted price that they are paying for equipment. By that I mean that I like to show both list price and sale price. Is it possible to do this on a custom report? I have been playing around with it a bit and cannot make it do what i want.

Basically what I tried to do was add a column on one of the reports so that it will show both MSRP and UNIT PRICE. Then in the data/equipment set up area, I use the unit price as my list price and the MSRP field as my discounted price.

From the custom report interface, I copied and pasted the unit price field and in the data field section of its set up I put "MSRP" instead of "PRICE" (I think the exact input was dtr:MSRP). The field was present on my custom report, but it did not represent the MSRP (the value was $0.00).

Can you help with this?

MSRP was not something that had been exposed in the reporting data but is being added and will be available in the next release.

"dtr:MSRP" will be the correct datafield binding, but since it does not exist in the XML right now it will present $0.00 in the report.

We do read the forums and respond as time permits. Each of us try to spead a bit of every day on the forums answering questions, but none of us are on them 24/7.

My suggestion would be that if you have searched the threads of the main section "Customizing Reports" and cannot find an answer, that you start a new thread as it's better than posting to a older thread in many cases.

Thanks for your question.

Unhappy Image Quality

The image controls may be set to clip, stretch, and some other settings that effect how the images appear. You may need to experiment to find the control that best meets your needs.
Not sure this image quality problem got resolved. I am fooling around with customized reports and have inserted our company logo on the front cover page, no matter how high a resolution I use, the image seems to get dithered and modified (the transparency in the PNG is quite bad). I have used clip, stretch and zoom; clip always returns a small image regardless of image size or image box size. Zoom and stretch work as noted above with terrible image output; onscreen in the editor looks fine, but preview and on-screen printed are bad.

Thx!
