When it prints looks exactly the same than it looks in the report soft and darker than the original image.

I'm having and issue with my LANSync right now and I'm only have access to SI5 on the client and not in the server since the client is holding the license. I created the customized report in the server but I will try to do the report again in the client and will post the pictures here.

Well, I wasn't able to reproduce the same image problem in the client, so I'm going to need to way until Monday, I guess, to be able to access the server and them I would try to check the differences between the results in both machines.

So, When you went off line and on line, you used the procedure shown on Page 48-49 of the User Guide and this did not work?

So now you are off line and you cannot connect to LANSync using the procedure on page 49?

Reed, I don't know why that happened but I never went off line by my own decision. I closed SI5 normally being online and the next time I opened it didn't go to the log on screen. When I opened the File Menu the LANSyn was unchecked. When I checked I got the error window reporting and when I selected to send the error message to D-Tools it closed SI5. I tried several times opening SI5 in the client computer with the same result always, didn't matter if I choose to send or not to send the error report. When I tried to open SI5 in the server I get the message that the license was already in use in another computer.

NP... We realize that the weekends are the only time some dealers may have to experiment with SI. Waiting 2 days can be frustrating. We cannot guarantee a response, but we will do what we can.

Default Image Controls In Reports

For client reports, the image control is set to "stretched". This may contribute to the image becoming "softer".

The image controls may be set to clip, stretch, and some other settings that effect how the images appear. You may need to experiment to find the control that best meets your needs.

Default Custom Report Category

Reed,

I was told by Tech Support that you may be able to help me with something I am trying to do. I like to show my clients the discounted price that they are paying for equipment. By that I mean that I like to show both list price and sale price. Is it possible to do this on a custom report? I have been playing around with it a bit and cannot make it do what i want.

Basically what I tried to do was add a column on one of the reports so that it will show both MSRP and UNIT PRICE. Then in the data/equipment set up area, I use the unit price as my list price and the MSRP field as my discounted price.

From the custom report interface, I copied and pasted the unit price field and in the data field section of its set up I put "MSRP" instead of "PRICE" (I think the exact input was dtr:MSRP). The field was present on my custom report, but it did not represent the MSRP (the value was $0.00).

Can you help with this?

Aaron,

I'm sure this is possible, but I am still getting up to speed on Active Reports myself. I'm sure Randy or Rick C would be point you in the right direction.
