I am considering hiring a developer to create custom reports for our company. What information can D-Tools provide that will help facilitate this?

I applied for the SDK to better understand what that offers. I understand this is not available for SI5 yet.

My initial interest is to build about 15 different custom reports. I know that the Active Reports control utilizes a Class that D-tools developed. What I don't know is whether it is part of the SDK or if this is specifically for reporting. I would like to provide documentation to the developer for scripting.

The second project is a web-based interface for viewing project information utilizing MySQL and PHP or another technology for rapid data-centric web development.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The SDK docs will be sent this week. The SDK could provide data to a reporting engine under program control.
